The Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) has donated GH¢ 5,000 to support this year’s Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) awards which is slated for 27thOctober, 2018 at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of the Authority on 5thSeptember, 2018, a Public Relations Officer, Mr Kojo Frimpong, said the gesture was to strengthen the relationship between the two organisations and to also ensure the upcoming awards is organised successfully.
The Authority for the past six years in collaboration with the GJA has organised capacity building workshops for journalists to broaden their knowledge on developments in the shipping industry.
The President of GJA, Mr Affail Monney received the donation on behalf of the Association and expressed gratitude to the Authority.
