Staff members of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA), led by the Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr. Peter Mensah-Abrampah on behalf of the CEO Mr. Kwesi Baffour Sarpong have donated assorted food items and toiletries valued at approximately GHC 50,000.00 to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
The donation, made on Friday, 30th August 2024, was funded by GSA staff voluntary contributions. These contributions were collected during the Authority’s Weekly Morning Devotion sessions held every Friday, as well as during its Annual Thanksgiving event. The donated items included bags of rice, sugar, and flour, cartons of milk and Milo, cartons of oats, gallons of cooking oil, buckets of margarine, buckets of washing powder, packs of toilet rolls, and among others.
Mrs. Agnes Agudu, the Deputy Director of Nursing Services led a team of Nurses to receive the donations on behalf of the facility’s Director. She noted that this generous gesture reflects the GSA staff’s strong commitment to supporting the community and caring for those in need.
