A delegation from Zenith Bank, led by its Executive Director, Mr Clifford Mensah, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA), Professor Ransford Gyampo.
During the visit, Mr Mensah extended his congratulations to Professor Gyampo and wished him success in his new role.
As part of the engagement, Mr Mensah provided an overview of Zenith Bank’s Maritime Desk, an initiative established to cater specifically to the financial needs of stakeholders in the shipping and logistics sector. He explained that the desk is designed to offer tailored banking services that facilitate seamless trade operations, and ultimately contributes to the growth of the economy.
Professor Gyampo commended Zenith Bank for the strategic initiative and acknowledged its potential to facilitate efficient trading and socio-economic development.
He further emphasised the importance of fostering a strong and mutually beneficial partnership between the GSA and Zenith Bank to advance the interests of the shipping and logistics industry in the interest of the broader socio-economic goals of Ghana.
The meeting reinforced the commitment of both institutions to collaborate and promote trade to strengthen Ghana’s standing on the global shipping landscape.
