Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) was honored tonight at the maiden edition of the “Maritime and Logistics Awards” for “Excellence in Shipper Focused Policy Development”.
The recognition highlights the GSA’s commitment to facilitating the formulation of enabling policies tailored to the needs of all players in the shipping and logistics sector, and most importantly ensuring the implementation of such policies.
As evidenced in the its pivotal role in the promulgation of its law, Act 1122 (2024), GSA seeks to effectively regulate the commercial shipping industry for the mutual good of shippers as well as shipping service providers, and the ultimate benefit of Ghana.
The Deputy CEO in charge of Operations, Prince Henry Ankrah, Head of Corporate Affairs, Bernice Natue and Abigail Owusu-Ansah of the Operations Department received award on behalf of the CEO, Prof. Ransford Gyampo who was unable to attend the Awards ceremony due to other obligations.
