The Ghana Shippers’ Authority Retirees Association (GHASARA) on Tuesday, 6th May 2025 paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority, Prof. Ransford Gyampo, to extend their congratulations on his appointment and also welcome him to the organization.
Led by former CEO of the Authority, Dr. Kofi Mbiah, the group expressed their continued interest in the progress of the Authority and pledged their support to the new leadership. The Association currently comprises 34 members, following the recent loss of two members about two (2) weeks ago.
Prof. Gyampo welcomed the group warmly and expressed his appreciation for the visit, stating that he was honoured to receive the retirees. He assured them of his open-door policy and willingness to engage with them for the continued growth of the Authority.
“I am deeply touched by your visit and your support. Retirement is a phase everyone looks forward to, and I believe your experience is invaluable to the future of the Authority,” Prof. Gyampo said. He also conveyed his condolences to the Association on the loss of their members and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining a strong relationship with GHASARA.
Prof. Gyampo was joined by Deputy CEO, Ms. Sylvia Asana Dauda Owu and Ms. Vida Ackom, the Personal Assistant to the CEO.
