Staff of the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) at the Head Office in Accra have donated five units of air conditioners to assist with the running of the Princess Marie Louise Hospital.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the GSA, Ms Benonita Bismarck presented the items on behalf of the staff on 5th February, 2020 at a brief ceremony in the hospital.
She said the donation, which was from the weekly offerings of the morning devotions held on Fridays, was a token from the staff to alleviate the burden on the running of the medical facility.

Ms Bismarck emphasised the importance of children in the eyes of God and the nation’s development and the need to care for their welfare and upkeep.
The Medical Superintendent of the Princess Marie Louise Hospital, Dr. Mame Yaa Nyarko thanked the GSA for the kind gesture and assured that the air conditioners will be used for the comfort of the children.
Built in 1926, the Princess Marie Hospital serves the needs of maternal and child healthcare delivery in the country.
