The Ghana International Trade and Finance Conference (GITFiC) in collaboration with Delegates from the Mexican Embassy have paid a courtesy call on the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) on Wednesday, 18th September, 2019 at the Shippers’ House, Accra.
The visit which was led by the Chief Executive Officer of Rescue Shipping and GITFiC, Mr Selasi Koffi Ackom was to familiarize delegates with the services of the GSA and also to invite the GSA to the Mexican Business Summit which will be taking place from 20th– 22nd October, 2019 in Cancun, Mexico.
The Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Mexico in Ghana, Felipe A. Gonzalez-Lugo M. stated that, the 17th Mexican Business Summit will invite top business magnets, political leaders, renowned global academicians, influential and opinion leaders. He hoped the summit will impact positively on the GSA.
The Head of Finance and acting Chief Executive Officer of the GSA, Mr Peter Mensah Abrampah welcomed the delegates and said, the main purpose of the GSA is to promote and protect the interests of shippers in Ghana. Hence, helping business people in trade activities.
The Head of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation of the GSA, Mr Emmanuel Arku made a brief presentation on the activities of the Authority.
