Naval students of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) have paid a familiarisation visit to the Ghana Shippers’ Authority (GSA) in Accra Wednesday 20thFebruary, 2019.

The visit forms part of the Maritime Studies curriculum of the GAFCSC where students of the Naval Faculty embark on familiarisation visits to establishments whose operations are maritime related.
Naval Cpt. Abdul Ben, Chief Instructor for the Naval Faculty of GAFCSC, led the delegation of students from Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Authority, Ms Benonita Bismarck, Deputy CEO and other heads of departments received the delegation.
The Head of the Management and Information System (MIS) Department, Mr Godwin Kofi Biney, made a presentation to the students on the services of the Authority, its achievements, challenges and prospects for the future.
