OF SHIPPING LINES

Most Shipping Lines operate weekly services from Tema and Takoradi to the major shipping routes /ports around the world namely:
  • Far East/Asia via Lome Port
  • Europe
  • The Americas via Antwerp
  • Some countries in Africa via Lome Port
Services
The Shipping Lines provide intermodal services from port of loading to final destination / warehouse.
Some have container yards in Kumasi to cater for the northern sector of the country. Services are provided on FOB and usually for 20’ containers.
Logistics and tracking
Vessels carry only Full Container Load (FCL) and not Less than Container Load (LCL). Contact a freight forwarder for Consolidation services.
